Available to hire for outdoor events of all sizes, our flat, well-drained 17-acre Events Field is hedged on all sides and has private gated entrances. Located by the A35 and accessible from across southwest England, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, and Southampton are within easy reach, and we are served with good rail connections to London and beyond.
We host various outdoor events, from festivals to sports events, campouts and weddings. Think of the venue as a blank canvas - you have complete freedom to shape it to your taste and create your unique event. With running water and good road access, the site’s infrastructure is scalable and can easily host large events. And we have a capable team ready to advise you as you plan.

The Retreat New Forest is within walking distance from our Events Field, with 15 beautiful rooms available to rent through Airbnb. This lovely wellness hub hosts a packed schedule of classes and retreats and also has a friendly café cafe and an award winning vegan restaurant. Multi-award-winning brewery Drop The Anchor is just next door and open to the public at the weekend.
In addition, there are good local campsites, including The Old Airfield, alongside hotels, pubs and restaurants all just a short drive away.

Create your own bespoke retreat with a blend of everything on offer here. Book in for a couple of nights via AirBnB, wake up to fresh artisan coffee and bakery goods at Crow Spotter cafe and stroll out to the garden for a yoga class. Go walking in the New Forest, head to the beach for lunch a dip in the ocean, then return to base for a relaxing massage. Finish the day off with cocktails and a mouth-watering, plant-based meal at OffBeet.
Crow Spotter has grown from an early “lockdown project” into a thriving café business. They established the brand with some core values that today influence everything they do, from how they source their food and everything in between.
These values revolve around the heart-centred principles of conscious, natural living. Crow Spotter uses seasonal and local produce focusing on organic certification and proper preparation, offering beautiful artisan coffee, breakfast, and bakery goods.
Drop the Anchor is a multi-award-winning brewery with a reputation for handcrafted care. Their beers are produced following a time-honoured methodology, using the finest natural ingredients from around the world. Beers are handcrafted in small cask batches under close personal attention, and the team seamlessly combines the latest brewing equipment and technologies with traditional brewing methods. This delivers consistently excellent taste, whether packaged in bottles or casks.
Their beers and ales are “unfined”, which means they are suitable for vegans - their range is of course super-popular with taste-conscious omnivores! Open on Fridays and Saturdays, Drop The Anchor is also available for events catering.

With 30 years of working in live music and extensive experience in Event Management, Production, and Event Coordination, Backroom Productions’ outstanding reputation and service have enabled us to become preferred suppliers to artists and bands from all over the world.
